Background:
DRFortress - Honolulu, originally built in 2001, was expanded in August 2007 to double the colocation square footage while quadrupling available power capacities. Today, this 50,000 sq. ft. network-neutral data center serves as the main hub for Internet traffic in Hawaii for major carriers, ISPs, and enterprise companies.
DRFortress' data center is conveniently located close to the Honolulu International Airport and major freeways for easy access. It is a hardened facility housed within a concrete industrial building that is also home to many large companies.
Details:
DRFortress is a Tier IV data center designed with N+1 redundancy for MEP systems. With the recent expansion, it has 2,000 kW of facility power, with available on-site diesel fuel to last up to 80 hours at full load. This data center is designed with concrete slab and overhead cooling distribution.

Customers my order network services directly from these providers ranging from DS1, DS3, to GigE and OC48 speeds. Cross connects are managed by DRFortress between customers and network providers within our facility.
