The primary interconnection hub for Equinix in the MENA region is DX1 in Dubai. Our Dubai IBX (DX1) serves as an interconnection hub for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, and is the focal point for connectivity inside and outside the region, with a Off-Shore Zone for regional and international traffic, and a On-Shore Zone for local traffic in the UAE (United Arab Emirates).

Additionally in the UAE, we expanded our presence with smaller build offered in Dubai (DX2) as well as Abu Dhabi (AD1). DX2 , is our second IBX facility in Dubai and is located within the Khazna facility wholesale data center provider in the UAE.
