Completed in November 2017, with a technical deployment space of over 6000m² and a municipal power supply of 24MVA, the new facility is the largest commercial data centre ever built in Africa. Teraco designed the facility by incorporating different elements of tiering solutions and industry best practices to ensure “concurrent maintainability”, with added enhancements to cover different levels of fault tolerance. JB2 – Bredell is the fourth carrier, cloud and vendor neutral data centre facility built by Teraco.
