Sahara Net Data Centers were completely updated and expanded between 2009 and 2013. The targeted short term level of operations for the Data Centers ranged from Tier2 to Tier3, with capability in the future to upgrade to Tier4 when required. Some of the basic specifications are: 

• Tier2 Data Center (N+1) with capability to upgrade to Tier3. Tier3 Data Center (N+N) with capability to upgrade to Tier4.

• FM200 Fire Suppression System. 
• Water and leakage detection system. 
• Multiple levels of physical access security and Camera surveillance. 
• Monitoring and alerting on all devices in the Data Center. 
• Separate physical space for Sahara Net own network and equipment and Collocated equipment. 
• Physically located in Dammam, Saudi Arabia with another new Data Center commissioned recently in Riyadh. 
• Capability for physical access to Collocation equipment if needed. 
• Capability to physically separate each collocation customer through his own secured rack. 
• Only Carrier Neutral Data Center through diverse paths and multiple carriers.
