Multinet KDC02 Data Center Data Center, Pakistan
Multinet Data Center Consultancy Services At Multinet, we fully realize that Data Center Services is not a commodity business and each customer has its own unique set of requirements that requires a customized answer all of which may or may not be available with the service provider. At times, the provider facilities might only answer part Multinet Data Center Services - A Quick Overview 14 of the customer requirements instead of meeting all the requirements. Multinet offers, via its dedicated Data Center accounts team, consultancy services to allow its potential customers to fully evaluate the proposition of switching fully or partially from self-owned-and-operated Data Center / Computer Room facilities to Multinet Data Center Services addressing technical, financial and administrative issues.
42 Basic and 3 Purpose-Built Co-locations Multinet has two types of co-location facilities spread across the country - Basic Co-location and Purpose-built Co-locations. There are 42 co-location facilities that are geographically distributed across the country that provide basic telecom co-location facility both to Multinet's own transmission and IP network as well as a number of telecommunication players that have field co-location requirements for their own operations. Apart from these distributed co-location facilities, Multinet has purposebuilt Data Centers that are carefully placed at key locations to deliver the end results. In Karachi, we are at the clutter-free Korangi Industrial Area. In Lahore, our facility is in the NTC purpose built multi-operator facility at 6 Race Course Ground and in Islamabad, we are located in the former USIS security enhanced infrastructure building in Blue Area. All locations are connected with the wider network by at least three physically diverse optical fiber cables owned by Multinet and additionally hiring services of other local and domestic optical fiber cable services providers.
The Karachi and Lahore Data Centers are now operational and the expected readiness of Islamabad Data Center is in December 2009.
