The DigiPlex Oslo 3 Fetsund data centre is a brand new centre with state-of-the art
technology and industry leading energy efficiency features. The data centre has been
purpose built for a single customer to meet the digital demands of the future.
The innovative infrastructure incorporates a low energy indirect air-cooling system
designed specifically to exploit Norway's cooler climate. This ground breaking
solution will enable the scheme to deliver high levels of cooling with exceptionally
low power consumption.
Operated by DigiPlex, it features two-three storey, air-cooled buildings, each with the capacity for 20 000 servers. Each 2 100m´ net 'white space' building contains three server rooms, one on each floor. These 6m high spaces each have a floor area of 700 m´ and have been designed for an IT density of 2 kW/. The facility operates at a PUE factor of only 1.1 thanks to our unique Air-to-Air cooling technology.
