This opportunity is with a leading mission-critical data center developer, wholesale and colo provider that provides reliability of mission-critical facilities for many of the world’s largest organizations. The company is looking for a Data Center Facility Manager with 10-15 years of data center critical facility operations and maintenance experience to support a critical data center. The Data Center Manager will be responsible for managing the operation and maintenance of the critical facility physical infrastructure systems in accordance with company’s policies and procedures.

Data Center Wholesale Colo Sales Associate
Richmond, Va.
This opportunity is with a company that specializes in mission-critical data center colocation and interconnection facilities. The new hire in this position will support the region and pursue sales opportunities to attract customers for their data center collocation environment and product offerings. This position requires five to 10 years of data center sales experience.

Data Center Construction Manager – Owner’s Rep
Ashburn, Va.
This opportunity is with a provider of owner’s rep mission-critical data center construction solutions, who is looking for a new Data Center Construction Manager with anywhere from seven to 15 years of prior experience. The new hire will assist in planning and organizing large scale data center construction project, put together critical facilities construction project plans, assist in establishing project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards within boundaries of corporate policies, and more.

Mechanical Commissioning Engineer

This position requires five to 10 years of experience in the mechanical and HVAC fields, and a related Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree is a plus. The chosen candidate will manage projects, plans, provide and gather specifications, and execute assignments in a multidisciplinary mechanical engineering commissioning role for large facility projects.

Electrical Commissioning Engineer
Ashburn, Va.
This Ashburn firm — a leader in critical facilities assessment and commissioning services in the U.S. — is looking for a new Electrical Commissioning Engineer with seven to 10 years of experience in the electrical field. Verticals that the company covers include government, commercial, financial services, hospitals and mission critical facilities, such as data centers and disaster recovery sites.

Electrical Commissioning Engineer
Omaha, Neb.
This position is for a seasoned engineer – seven to 10 years of experience in the electrical field is required – including previous experience in the data center and mission critical facilities market. The new Electrical Commissioning Engineer will prepare commissioning test procedures and reports; develop and maintain commissioning logs, equipment checklist, and other tools to track commissioning projects; and write comprehensive reports, among other duties.

MEP Superintendent – Data Center
Omaha, Neb.
This opportunity is with a provider of mission-critical design build solutions. The new hire will be responsible for field activities associated with the project, including supervision of all field construction work by electrical and mechanical subcontractors and self-performed work. He or she will also share responsibility with the construction project manager for developing the project budget, actively participating in the pre-construction phase, and ensuring that the project is built on time, within budget, and according to company policies and procedures. This opening requires eight of more years of data center and critical facilities MEP construction experience. Project size, scope, and complexity of the years of experience will also be a large factor in the decision process.

MEP Superintendent – Data Center
Salt Lake City, Utah
This Salt Lake City opportunity is for a construction professional with eight or more years of data center and critical facilities MEP construction experience. The new hire will be responsible for field activities associated with the project, including supervision of all field construction work by electrical and mechanical subcontractors and self-performed work; keep in constant contact with subcontractors to ensure timely work to keep project on time and within budget; and ensures equipment purchased is in onsite at the project when needed, among other responsibilities. Detailed understanding of mechanical and electrical systems to include integrated testing, MOPs/SOPs  of installation, functionality and troubleshooting, is required.

Data Center Construction Manager – Owner’s Rep

This firm is looking for a Data Center Engineer to support a critical data center. The Critical Facility Engineer will be responsible for monitoring compliance with contractual commitments, directing technical and administrative tasks related to the operation of the critical facility infrastructure and assuring compliance with company’s policies and procedures. Five or more years of relevant experience is required, including specific data center operations experience.

Data Center Facility Engineer – TS/SCI
Columbia, Md.
This opportunity in Maryland is also for a Data Center Engineer to support a critical data center. Responsibilities include operating and performing both routine and emergency service on a variety of state-of-the-art critical systems, participating in the preparation of analyses and reports on the data center infrastructure, develops project plans and conducts briefings and presentations and more. Requirements include three to eight or more years of relevant experience with power, electrical and mechanical equipment, including generators, critical and essential PDU’s, UPS, switchgear, chillers, air handling units, computer grade cooling systems, DC Power Systems, and building monitoring and control systems.

Data Center Facility Engineer
San Jose, Calif.
Lastly, this leading provider of mission-critical solutions is also looking for a new Data Center Facility Engineer.  The new hire will troubleshoot and run diagnostics, conduct preventive maintenance and emergency repairs on critical facilities equipment within the data center as specified and on schedule. This position requires five or more years of relevant experience, which must include prior data center operations experience. Candidates must also have the technical knowledge and practical experience of operating, troubleshooting and maintenance of mission critical, mechanical and/or electrical support systems.
