Tecnopolo Tiburtino data center, located in Rome on the plain of the Tiburtina Valley occupies an area of 12,000 sqm., most of which is dedicated to technological facilities. The building was designed to provide a non-stop service 365 days a year, 24 hours a day. The building, which has three underground floor and four floors above ground, has dual-paths optical fiber connections and is equipped with computerized control systems: anti-intrusion systems smoke and fire detectors with an automatic extinguishing system water infiltration detectors with an drainage system air-conditioning systems.
The area is well connected with rail and underground through the nearby Roma Tiburtina station and easily accessible from the international airports of Fiumicino, Ciampino and Urbe private airport.
The site is located in an area with stable weather patterns, in a safe area that is not subject to any natural environmental dangers such as flood planes or landslides and is properly hardened against earthquakes.
Data Center has been awarded by TIER IV/Rating 4 "Fault Tolerant" ANSI/TIA 942-A-2014 certification and fully responds to all the assurance requirements in terms of critical level.
Data center is carrier independent allowing access to all carriers entering the data center through 2 different path and hosted in 3 separated carrier room creating an ecosystem that enables easy cross-connection to main national and international carriers
