Digital Realty is constructing FRA20, its latest data center facility located at Hanauer Landstraße 360 in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. This new facility, part of the Digital Park Fechenheim campus, is designed to deliver approximately 16MW of IT capacity spread over more than 8,100 square meters.
The first phase of FRA20 is anticipated to be operational by spring 2027. This expansion underscores Digital Realty's commitment to Frankfurt as a strategic location and addresses the increasing demand for AI-optimized and sustainable digital infrastructure.
The Digital Park Fechenheim campus, which began development with FRA17 in 2021, is planned to eventually house 11 data centers, offering 200MW of capacity across 100,000 square meters. FRA17 became operational around 2023, and FRA27 is also listed as live. Five of the campus's data centers, including FRA20 and FRA18, will be situated within the historic Egon-Eiermann building.
