STACK Infrastructure MEL01B
STACK Infrastructure MEL01B Data Center, Australia
Forecast to become Australia’s fastest-growing city with a population of 5.9 million expected by 2030, Melbourne is becoming a Tier 1 data center market for hyperscalers and large enterprises needing power, reliability, and scalability – fast. This 72MW campus comprises two purpose-built 36MW data centers, MEL01A and MEL01B, in the high growth hyperscale corridor of Truganina in Melbourne’s western suburbs. Situated on 3.6 hectares of land, the campus offers 38,000 sq.m. of technical area and 4,888 sq.m. of additional office and storage space. The site hosts a dedicated onsite 66kV/11kV utility substation with total capacity of 135MW. As a carrier neutral campus, our Melbourne sites offer expansion at scale with immediate proximity to various major dark fiber carriers for strong connectivity. MEL01A, the 36MW North building, features nine data halls across three floors with rapid deployment flexibility to suit specific customer technical, operational, and density requirements. MEL01B, the threelevel, air-cooled South building, delivers 36MW of critical capacity across 12 data halls and an onsite substation with diverse feeders for robust power. Central Location: Reach businesses and innovators across Asia Pacific from Australia’s second most populated city, quickly on the rise to become the nation’s largest and fastest-growing city. Substantial Scalability: Scale for the future and the ever-increasing demand for more data processing and storage with access to 72MW of critical capacity. Flexible Options: Choose from READYSTACK capacity for immediate availability, POWERSTACK shell deployments for optimal control, and HYPERSTACK build-to-suit for ultimate flexibility. Comprehensive Connectivity: Capitalize on immediate proximity to major long haul fiber carriers and high-capacity dark fiber for lowlatency connectivity. Future-Proof Design: Implement higher rack density and floor loading specifications with our scalable design, reflecting the evolving requirements in Australia and the APAC region more broadly
