S2 Sydney is under construction, due to open to the general public in 1HFY19.
At a staggering 30MW at full fitout, S2 is planned to be the first data centre in Sydney certified as being an Uptime Tier IV for Design Documents and Constructed Facility and Gold certified for Operational Sustainability.
Whilst powerful, S2 will champion energy efficiency and sustainability excellence. Upon completion, the facility will target the same level of efficiency as M1 (at a minimum), which currently leads the industry in terms of energy efficiency.
As our customers power and compute requirements continue to climb, it’s crucial you have the power to support new infrastructure and technology deployments. S2 has been engineered to support high density workloads, with an 8kW rack average, ensuring we support your needs today and the years to come.
Consisting of 8,700m2 of technical space at full fitout, S2 will have an initial capacity of 16MW, scaling to 30MW with a target PUE of 1.29 - supporting a superior level of energy efficiency never before seen in Australia.
